Starting from 1 November, selected uDrop parcel lockers will be displayed under SmartPosti parcel lockers in online store checkout menus. Only locations where there is no nearby SmartPosti parcel locker will be added to the selection.
If your online store ships temperature-sensitive or weather-sensitive products, or if you prefer not to offer uDrop parcel lockers what are located outdoor to your customers for any other reason, you can remove these locations from your SmartPosti delivery options.
From November, SmartPosti will expand its delivery network in Āne, Rēzekne, Spilve, Saulkrasti, Kaunata, Liepāja, Grundzāle, Jāņupe and Tukums. In some of these areas, this will be a new SmartPosti delivery location, while in others, an additional location will be added to the existing network.
Adding uDrop parcel lockers to the SmartPosti delivery network helps ensure faster deliveries during the upcoming peak season and expands coverage in areas where customers currently have fewer nearby parcel locker options.

If you use SmartPosti delivery plugins
If parcel lockers are displayed in your online store through SmartPosti delivery plugins (WooCommerce, Shopify, PrestaShop, Magento or OpenCart), you can remove outdoor parcel lockers from the plugin settings with just a few clicks. See the instructions here.
Note: If you remove outdoor parcel lockers, you will also exclude those Posti parcel lockers in Finland that are located outdoors, also uDrop parcel lockers in Estonia and Lithuania.
